Focus: blending mathematics, physical sciences, and business applications to form a program of study built on probability, optimization, statistics, computing, economics, and psychology.
Focus: blending mathematics, physical sciences, and business applications to form a program of study built on probability, optimization, statistics, computing, economics, and psychology.
Focus: offering an inclusive design approach that is dedicated to the creation and development of products, systems, services, and environments that are usable as well as responsive to individual and collective needs in an increasingly diverse population.
Focus: preparing students for a career in design practice as well as for graduate education in industrial design, the professional practice of creating products or enhancing the function, usability, value, and appearance of products with the goal of benefiting the user, manufacturer, community, and environment.
The minor in Industrial Design will expose students to the field of industrial design, allowing them to better work on multidisciplinary teams where design is a central element. This minor will provide interested students from other disciplines at Georgia Tech accelerated access to the graduate program in Industrial Design.
Focus: conducting advanced research to support the design of computational artifacts that better support human endeavors.
Focus: providing students with the practical, interdisciplinary skills and theoretical understanding they will need to become leaders in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the computer interfaces of the future.
Focus: concentrating on an advanced research curriculum aimed at developing an understanding of technology and science within a broad social and historical context.
Focus: developing an understanding of technology and science within a broad social and historical context.
Focus: building upon a broad-based training in humanities, mathematics, computing, science, and social sciences to further focus on global issues related to the origin and impact of technology and science.
For students who want to broaden their educations, the study of history provides a context for understanding the world and develops analytical abilities, verbal and written communications skills, and the critical thinking that is the bedrock of active citizenship.
The minor in History is also good preparation for a broad array of careers, including business, education, government, and law.
