Mitchell Walker has more than 20 years of experience in the field of electric propulsion as a researcher, consultant, and innovator. His current research involves the theoretical and experimental work in spacecraft propulsion and how to protect Earth from space debris. Walker has delivered testimony to members of Congress helping guide America’s investments in the future of space exploration. He also serves on NASA’s advisory council and was part of the testbed study of the electric propulsion of the International SpaceStation. A plasma physic and rocket expert, Walker has been a lead consulting voice for companies like Newell Rubbermaid, and Lockheed Martin as well as for the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy.
