2013 PhD Assistantship in Sustainable Local Economic Development Planning

The PhD Program of Georgia Tech's School of City and Regional Planning is pleased to announce a three year research assistantship, beginning Fall 2013, with a focus on multiple aspects of sustainable local economic development planning in the U.S.  The research may also incorporate comparative analyses between the U.S. and other countries depending on the successful applicant’s interests.  The assistantship covers tuition and a stipend.  A master's degree in planning is required.  Information about the PhD program and general admission requirements may be found at:  http://www.planning.gatech.edu/academics/phd/overview

A separate 250 word essay outlining the applicant's research interests in sustainable local economic development must be submitted to the PhD program director after completing the on-line application process for the PhD Program.  For more information, prospective Ph.D. students should contact Professor Nancey Green Leigh at:  ngleigh@gatech.edu.
